Christmas card class Wed Dec 4th

Good morning. We will be making these cards in our next class on Wednesday December 4th:

We will be using the Lovely as a Tree stamp set to make these beautiful Christmas cards. These are just some I made and I was playing with different colours. Below we have Island Indigo, Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive:

And these 2 are in Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay:

Here is a close up of the Island Indigo one. These photos are not very good as it was already getting dark but I hope you can see enough:

And just to let you see the glitter 'snow' on the branches:

Here's a closer look at the sponging done with the daubers

If you fancy joining us then please email me at mapleleafstampin@yahoo.co.uk to book your place. The class will be held from 7.00-9.30pm and the cost is £12 as usual which includes everything you need to make 4 cards. You can make these cards in any colour you like, so let me know your choices when you book. See you soon.x

Patchwork Flower Shop

Here is the last of our Flower Shop cards. This one uses the 'patchwork' flower:

I used 2 of the In Colours, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush. The sentiment is from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set and the flowers were punched using the Pansy Punch.

There are 6 flowers in the Flower Shop stamp set and we only used 3 in this class. Here are the others:

This set can be bought as a bundle, the Flower Shop stamp set and the Pansy Punch for £31.75 ( 132727, wood) or £28.25 (132726, clear). If you would like to buy this, you can do so in my online shop www.mapleleafstampin.stampinup.net
Hope you liked these examples. x

Squigly Flower Shop Card

Here's another one of the cards we made with the Flower Shop stamp set. All the flower stamps are different and all can be punched out using the Pansy Punch. I call this the squiggly flower:

We stamped the flowers down the edge and then cut round them. We then stamped some separate flowers and added them with 3D pads. Some Rhinestones finished it off. We also stamped the envelope flap as you can see below. x

Autumn Wreath

Morning everyone, I don't seem to be able to stop making these wreaths. I just love them. This is my version of an Autumn Wreath.

I used the Sweater Weather designer papers and the Autumn Accents die. I also used the Burlap ribbon  to make my flowers and the Vintage Faceted buttons to add a bit of bling. Most of the leaves were textured with a variety of embossing folders and sponged round the edges.

Here's a close up of the 'flowers'. The big one was made by just sewing a running stitch along one edge and pulling the ends together. The small one were made in the same way but I cut the ribbon in half lengthways first.

All products can be found in my shop as usual. x

Vellum flower shop cards

I've realised that I haven't shown you these Flower Shop cards, which we made some time ago in one of our classes.

We used the Flower Shop stamp set with the matching Pansy Punch. If you're going to stamp onto vellum, you need to use StazOn so that it doesn't smudge and dries quickly. The sentiment panel has been cut using the Window Frames Collection dies and the Big Shot. Here's a close up of the flowers. I used a dauber and Daffodil Delight to colour the flower centre:

Here is each card again:

The sentiments are from a set that is now retired but there are lots of other sentiments you can use. I hope you like these cards. They have a lovely delicate feel to them. x
