Happy Birthday

Hi everyone, I've just typed a whole paragraph about how this card is different as there are no Sale-A-Bration freebies in it, when I realised that the greeting stamp is from the Sale-A-Bration set Outlined Occassions -duh!! Anyway, I made this card for one of the ladies who always attends my card making classes, as it was her birthday a couple of weeks ago. This is what I made for her:

I love these banner cards and they are really easy to make but eye catching. For this one I used the Flirtatious Speciality papers. These papers are lovely, they come with 2 sheets of cut out doily papers and they match the Delicate Doilies stamp set which I used on the inside:

I stamped the greeting with Black Stazon ink and then coloured it in using my marker pens:

The base card was Pretty in Pink with a Pumpkin Pie layer. Why not have a go at making one of these? Also, remember it's not too late to place a £45 order to get your own Sale-A-Bration freebies. Just get in touch. x

Mother's Day Class

Hi everyone, I'll be holding a Mother's Day class where we'll be making a flip album and  a matching card. Here's a sneak preview:

Now, at the moment I am slightly unsure about the date. The possible dates are the 7th March, 13th March or 14th March. I'm going to see when most people can attend and then hold the class on that date - possibly 2 dates. If you're interested in making this lovely album which you can then fill with beautiful photos, let me know which dates you can make. Price is £12 as usual which includes everything you need to make this album with a matching card.

If you don't want to make this album for Mother's Day, you don't have to. You can make it for anyone you like -just change the wording. Get in touch soon, so I can finalise the date. I will publish details and more photos of this project after the class, although there is another photo on my classes page - the tab is at the top of the blog. x

The last two Sale-A-Bration cards

Hi everyone, I hope you've had a great weekend. Wasn't the sunshine lovely? Here are the last 2 cards we made at card class last weekend. This was my favourite card - I think I just really liked these colours although they look a bit dull in this photo:

The stampset is the FREE Outlined Occasions set and I used Lucky Limeade for the base card, and scraps of Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Coral Calypso and the Boho Blossoms punch to make the flowers. My favourite Dotted Scallop Ribbon border punch and some Calypso Coral card created the border. I also used the fantastic Every Day Enchantment FREE Sale-A-Bration designer papers. The sentiment was stamped with Staz-On ink and coloured with the In Colour markers which match all the papers and card colours. Here are the close ups:

Now for the last card. This is actually very similar to one I have shown you before here. This time I've used Crumb Cake for the base card and I've stamped the images using Lucky Limeade ink and the FREE Elementary Elegance stamp set:

I used Pear Pizzazz seam binding and Tangerine Tango for the lovely little rose. It should have had a rhinestone in the middle but it fell out and I didn't notice until after I had taken the photos. Here's a close up of the flower:

To make the flower, I punched a large circle, cut it into a spirral and rolled it up. This works equally well with the scalloped circle punch too. I've used my Colour Spritzer tool again - can you see the 'speckled' effect?

Anyway, I hope you like these cards. Remember, if you want any of the FREE products, contact me to place a £45 order. I'll be showing you a preview of our Mother's Day class project soon - we'll be making a flip photo album with a matching card, so keep looking and don't forget to book your place if you want to join in with us on the class..x

The first two Sale-A-Bration cards

Hi everyone, as you know we were making a card with every Sale-A-Bration stamp set at class this week. I know you've had a sneaky peek but here are the first 2 cards in detail. Here's the first one using the Fresh Vintage stamp set:

I am trying to use some different colours combinations so for this card I used Cajun Craze and More Mustard with Very Vanilla. I used Cajun Craze ink and my favourite Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch. The sentiment was punched using the Word Window punch and the Modern Label punch. A strip of designer paper completed the card. As you can see all the colours and papers coordinated beautifully, taking all the hassle out of card making. Here's a bit of a close up. Sorry it's on its side:

Now for the second card. This one uses the Sprinkled Expressions stamp set:

This time I used a white card with Melon Mambo and Concord Crush. I stamped the flower and sentiment in Melon Mambo ink and used the scalop circle punch with the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches to create the sentiment flower. One of the flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack was used to create the 3 small flowers, finished with a rhinestone in the centres.

Here's the close up:

These stamp sets are extremely versatile and yours FREE with a £45 order. Give me a ring if you want to place an order. x

Sale-A-Bration is Here!!

Hi everyone, it's Sale-A-Bration time at Stampin' Up! What does this mean, I hear you ask....Well, it means that for every £45 you spend on catalogue products, you get to choose a great free stamp set or pack of papers from the Sale-A-Bration leaflet. You can get as many of these sets as you like, so if you spend £90, you can have 2 sets. Just click HERE to see the leaflet and free products

Now the other fantastic bit of news is that if you join my team during the Sale-A-Bration period and buy the starter kit, you get to choose an additional stamp set , of your choice, from the catalogue - even the most expensive one.

The starter kit is already great value as you get more than £250 worth of products for £119 but during Sale-A-Bration you can get nearly £300 worth. You can change most of the products in the kit, to your choice. In addition to this you get all the usual demo benefits -

  • Product discount - you get 30% off your first order of £150 or more within the first 45 days, then 20% thereafter. It's a great way to support your love of stamping and papercarfting.
  • Extra Income - it's up to you how much you earn based on your sales and recruiting. You can just do it as a hobby, save up for something special or turn it into a business.
  • Flexible schedule - You decide how much time you want to put it in.
  • Support from Stampin' Up! - Stampin' Up! treats all the demonstrators really well. They put on special training events and supply us with inspirational ideas. They have a special website and are only ever a phonecall away.
  • Incentives and Bonuses. You can earn the price of your starter kit back in cash plus earn free stamp sets during your first full 6 months as a demonstrator. You can also earn free products during different promotions. You even have the chance to earn an all expenses paid trip for you and a guest (Utah-USA is the 2013 incentive trip to be earned)

My personal support - You will have my support every step of the way. I will help you no matter how large or small you want this to be. If you just want to be a hobby demonstrator, then that is absolutely fine. If you just want the starter kit and not ever put in another order, then that is fine too. It is totally up to you.

I joined Stampin' Up! during Sale-A-Bration last year and I've never looked back. I only joined to get the starter kit as it was such fantastic value but one thing lead to another and here I am. If you are even vaguely considering joining, then please give me a ring and we can discuss all the details.

I'll be sharing pictures of projects made with the Sale-A-Bration sets later but for now have a look through the leaflet and let me know if you would like to place an order. This is also a great time to host a party as there are additional benefits for hostesses, depending on sales. Again, just give me a ring on 07970 708348.
I hope to hear from you soon. x
