More Tea Caddies

Hi everyone, after we made the Tea Caddy for Mother's day, I got a bit carried away and made several more. I love how they all have their own character.
I made this one for my mum as she likes these colours. These papers are now retired:

This one has a slightly different base to the others:

Here's one I made to put in a hamper for Red Nose Day, at work. I thought the polka dots were appropriate:

And finally I made one using the free papers from Sale-A-Bration. Sadly these are no longer available. This one is my favourite:

Here are all of them. Which one do you like best? x

Easter basket close ups

Hi everyone, here are the close ups of the Easter Basket we made in our last class. There were lots of elements to this and we were hard pushed for time but I think everyone was pleased with the results:

Here's the butterfly on top of the handle. It was cut using the Beautiful Wings die, as were all the butterflies:

The side and handle attachement are shown below. The flowers were cut using the Blossom Party die, the label is from the Framelits Labels Collection. The Easter Greeting is from a retired stamp set.

Here are some close ups of the garden scene which is revealed when you lift the lid:

If you want to have a go at making this yourself, the tutorial can be bought from a very talented Australian demonstrator, Tanya Bell. You can find the details here. If you need any of the details, let me know as I'll be placing an order at the begining of April. Hope you have a lovely Easter. x

Mother's Day projects

Good morning everyone. As promised here is a closer look at the Mother's Day projects we made on Wednesday. We made a tea caddy and a Mother's Day card.

I used the fantastic Sycamore Street, Sale-A-Bration FREE papers for this class. They have lovely bright colours and for this project I used Tangerine Tango, Summer Starfruit and Island Indigo. Here's a closer look at the tea caddy:

There are a variety of tutorials for the tea caddy on the internet, just do a search and choose one you like. Here's a close up of the lid. We used the Blossom punch and Boho Blossoms punch for the flowers on top:

I used the Wonderful Mother stampset for the sentiments on the Tea Caddy and card. This is a lovely little set and only costs £10.95 for the wood version and £8.95 for the clear set. (Page 26 in the main catalogue)

Now for the card. It was made using the same products, except we also used the Tea Shoppe stamp set:

I even decorated the inside of the card, unusual for me, I know:

I hope you like these projects and will have a go yourself. Sale-A-Bration is only till the 22nd March, so if you want some free goodies, don't delay ordering. Remember it's not just the freebies that are on offer. If you buy the starter kit for £99, you actually get to choose £162.50 worth of products during Sale-A-Bration. Who can resist such a great bargain? x
