Last Stamp-A-Stack
Hi everyone, this is the last card we made and boy did I have trouble getting a half decent photo of this. The colour is Pool Party but because of all the rain and overcast days it's hard to show you the colour. I had lots of attempts at taking these photos and the colour is better in some than others:

This was quite a simple card to make. We punched a circle out of the front of the base card and then punched a scalloped circle in Whisper White. We punched a circle out of the scalloped circle and stuck on the front of the card, after randomly stamping snowflakes all over the front of the card:

The Polar Bear from the Polar Party stamp set was stamped on Whisper White and coloured with marker pens and then stuck to the inside of the card so the polar bear's head shows through the punched circle.

I used some glitter on the polar bear and the snowflakes too. That was the last card from the Stamp-A-Stack class. The next class is on Wednesday 3rd October and I'll be posting details soon. x

Stamp-A-Stack Christmas Tree
Good morning. Todays card uses a traditional red and green colour scheme. To be more precise it's Real Red and Gumball Green:
We used the Pennant Parade stamp set, and the matching Pennant builder punch to make the Christmas tree, after embossing the card with one of the Designer Frames embossing folders.
Have you spotted the new Stitched Satin Ribbon in Gumball Green? This ribbon is available in all of the new 2012-2013 In-Colours. It has a lovely sheen which you can just about see in this photo. We used Curly Cute for the sentiment:
I hope you liked this card. Check back soon for the last card we made. x

Christmas Stamp-A-Stack 2
Hi everyone, here's the second card we made in card class:
This one had Natural Ivory as the background (it's a bit sturdier then Very Vanilla and good for a base card) and Cherry Cobbler. We used one of my favourite Christmas stamps, Dasher, which is sadly being discontinued but there is something similar coming your way (hint, hint). Here's a close up of the rhinestones in the antlers:
The Designer Series Paper is called 'Be of Good Cheer' which has this lovely Cherry Cobbler snowflake paper. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny wishes, punched with the world window punch and the Modern Label punch:
Check back for more soon. x

Christmas Stamp-A-Stack
Good morning everyone, today I'm sharing one of the cards we made in the Christmas Stamp-A-Stack card class, which was held last Wednesday. A Stamp-a-Stack is a cardmaking session where you make a number of cards and, because you make more cards, the designs are often slightly more simple. On Wednesday the ladies made 8 cards, 2 of 4 designs. Here's the first one:

For this card we used Bashful Blue and Whisper White and the Tags til Christmas stamp set. The background panel was embossed using the Polka Dot embossing folder and the sentiment was punched out using the Decorative Label punch.

The ornaments were stamped using Bashful Blue ink and punched out with the ornament punch. Some matching blue ribbons and bows completed the look:

Owl Christmas
Hi Everyone. Here are some more owls for you, made with the fabulous Owl Occassions stamp set, but this time it's Christmas. These are the cards I made:

I used Real Red and one of the new In Colours, Gumball Green for the base cards. Now personally, I don't like green and think there are plenty of greens in the Stampin' Up colours already but actually this is a lovely clear bright green. I hope you can see that in this photo:
Here's a close up of the owl. I used the matching marker pens to colour the stamp, and the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to position all the extra bits. I especially like the holly leaves and berries:
Here is the red version. I used some papers from the new Snow Festival designer series papers to create the border. These papers are great- very colourful. You can find them in the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue:
